Sacred Heart TimberQuest Classroom Building

In partnership with Aedis Architects, Daedalus Structural Engineering, and XL Construction, Elevated delivered the first TimberQuest mass timber project for Sacred Heart Schools. TimberQuest is a cost and schedule efficient, prefabricated, DSA pre-checked solution that provides 21st-century learning environments within a high-quality, healthy, and sustainable mass timber facility. The project is approximately 4,000 s.f., containing four 1,000 s.f. classrooms, each with a restroom. This project was built out with a quick turnaround of 11 weeks, during the summer, with classrooms ready for students to return to school in the fall. The general contractor was able to add efficiency and speed to the project by consolidating multiple trade scopes, including mass timber erection, rough carpentry, and building and site specialties work, under the Elevated contract. One crew with eight workers completed erection of this innovative project in four weeks and with a total of 1,280 hours worked.
